our PRACTICE
We offer nutrition support and intuitive eating counselling for individuals and families, grounded in a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach. For the youngest clients this means the application of responsive feeding principles, Ellyn Satter’s Division of Responsibility, baby led weaning and others, all of which promote structure without control.
Our work is practical, reflective, and relational. Rather than prescribing rules, we focus on individual goals and supporting people to make sense of food, eating, and nutrition within the context of real life. This includes family dynamics, emotional wellbeing, culture, and individual needs.
Sessions are tailored to the person or family in front of us. Some people come with specific nutrition questions, others are looking for space to explore their relationship with food, and many arrive with a combination of both. We work collaboratively, drawing on counselling and nutrition support as appropriate, and tailoring the focus over time.

Nutrition & Intuitive Eating Support
-
This is a non-diet, weight-inclusive nutrition and intuitive eating support service for individuals and families across the lifespan.
Support is tailored to the person and may include practical nutrition guidance, counselling-style support, or a blend of both, depending on age, needs, and goals. Sessions are flexible and can evolve over time.
Nutrition support is available for all ages, from infancy through adulthood.
Intuitive Eating Counselling is offered to individuals aged 13+, where this approach is developmentally appropriate.
Family-focused support usually involves parents or carers, while Intuitive Eating Counselling offers 1:1 personal support for an individual’s relationship with food and body. Please note: parents or carers may attend 1:1 sessions with minors where this is preferred.
All work is provided ethically, within our scope of practice*, and in line with professional standards.
-
Sessions are client-centred and non-prescriptive.
They may include:
Reflective conversation and exploration
Practical, realistic nutrition guidance
Support around eating patterns, beliefs, and experiences
Problem-solving around meals, routines, and family dynamics
For children and families, sessions are typically practical and parent-focused, supporting a positive, supportive food environment.
For adolescents and adults (13+), sessions may include Intuitive Eating counselling work.
Sessions are offered in person or online.
-
Each appointment includes:
A 60-minute consultation (face to face or online)
Depending on the focus, this may also include:
Worksheets or reflective tools
Review of information or completed worksheets shared in advance
Review of mealtime photos or videos (if applicable)
Written recommendations or a session summary, where applicable
Support may be short-term or ongoing, depending on individual needs.
-
An initial 60-minute consultation is £130.
Follow-up appointments are 60 minutes and are charged at £120.
Discounted rates are available when clients attend six sessions or more (the discount applies to the sixth session onwards).
Extended 90-minute consultations are available at £185 and can be booked for both initial and follow-up appointments.
If you’re experiencing financial difficulty but feel our support could be helpful, we offer space for one pay-what-you-can client each month. Please book a free discovery call and let us know you’d like to be considered for this option.
*Scope of Practice
We only work with individuals who have eating disorders or complex health conditions as part of a wider care team, alongside appropriate dietetic, medical, and mental health support. If we believe your needs fall outside our scope of practice, we will be clear about this and recommend seeking support from an appropriate professional to help ensure you receive the care that is right for you.
